The AusherMed 3600B is a high-capacity LiFePO4 expansion battery designed to extend the runtime of the AusherMed 3600 system. Each module adds 3,600Wh of additional capacity, giving SDA homes, healthcare facilities, and pharmacies the extended backup they need during prolonged outages.
Important: The 3600B requires an AusherMed 3600 base unit to operate. It cannot function as a standalone power station.
Each unit connects seamlessly — no setup, configuration, or special tools required. The AusherMed 3600 automatically detects connected 3600B modules and manages charging, load balancing, and status monitoring across all units.
Up to seven 3600B modules can be connected to a single AusherMed 3600, bringing total system capacity to 28.8kWh.
Here’s what adding 3600B modules means in practice:
| Configuration | Total Capacity | Vaccine Fridge (~50W) | SDA Bedroom (2x GPO, ~200W) | Air Mattress (~60W) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3600 only | 3,600Wh | ~61 hours | ~15 hours | ~51 hours |
| 3600 + 1x 3600B | 7,200Wh | ~122 hours (5+ days) | ~30 hours | ~102 hours (4+ days) |
| 3600 + 2x 3600B | 10,800Wh | ~184 hours (7+ days) | ~46 hours | ~153 hours (6+ days) |
| 3600 + 7x 3600B | 28,800Wh | ~490 hours (20+ days) | ~122 hours (5+ days) | ~408 hours (17+ days) |
Runtimes are estimates based on typical device wattage and ~85% inverter efficiency.
Safe and Scalable Design: Connect up to seven 3600B modules to expand total capacity to 28.8kWh, supporting extended care during prolonged power interruptions.
Seamless Operation: Automatically recognised and managed by the AusherMed 3600 for synchronised charging, discharging, and battery health management.
Battery Safety Certified: Compliant with IEC 62619, IEC 62040-1, CE, RCM, and RoHS — ensuring safety and reliability in sensitive healthcare environments. [NOTE TO MING: Add UL 9540A back to this list once confirmed with manufacturer]
Quiet and Maintenance-Free: Completely sealed, zero emissions, and minimal noise — suitable for bedroom, clinical, and aged care environments.
Long Service Life: Over 6,000 cycles to 80% capacity, backed by a 5-year warranty.
Built for Harsh Conditions: Maintains stable performance at charging temperatures from −2°C to 50°C and discharging from −28°C to 50°C, with reliable operation up to 2,000m altitude.
SDA Homes — Extended Backup Duration: The standard AusherMed 3600 already meets SDA Clause 22.1 requirements. Adding 3600B modules extends backup from hours to days — critical during widespread outage events where power restoration may take several days.
Vaccine and Cold Chain — Multi-Day Protection: A single 3600B module extends vaccine fridge backup from roughly one day to five days. For pharmacies and clinics in regional areas where power restoration takes longer, this margin can save thousands of dollars in vaccine stock.
Aged Care Facilities — Facility-Wide Resilience: Scale backup capacity to cover medication fridges, nurse stations, common areas, and essential building systems simultaneously across extended outage periods.
Emergency and Disaster Response: Pre-position expanded capacity for temporary medical shelters, evacuation centres, and remote healthcare operations where grid power is unavailable.
The AusherMed 3600B is a professional-grade energy expansion module. It is not certified as a standalone medical device. It is designed for use exclusively with the AusherMed 3600 base unit. Specifications and intended use are subject to change.
The 3600B is an expansion battery that connects to the AusherMed 3600, adding 3,600Wh of scalable LiFePO4 storage. With support for up to 7 expansion units, it extends total system capacity to 28.8kWh — designed for SDA backup, vaccine cold chain, and healthcare facility applications where extended runtime is essential.
